Government ne PM E-Drive ke tehat EV charging infrastructure ke liye 100% subsidy launch ki hai.
PM E-DRIVE scheme ke under pehle focus un cities par hoga jahan population 10 lakh se zyada hai (2011 census ke hisaab se), smart cities, aur wo satellite towns jo 7 bade metro cities se connected hain. Yahan EV charging stations lagaye jayenge.
Government ne EV adoption ko fast karne ke liye rules laaye hain jisme vehicle charging, battery swapping aur battery charging stations par 100% subsidy milegi.
Government ne ₹10,000 crore ke PM E-Drive scheme ke under EV promotion ke liye guidelines release ki hain, jisme se ₹2,000 crore charging infrastructure ke liye rakha gaya hai.
Guidelines ke under eligible entities ko subsidy milegi, aur support diya jayega
upstream infrastructure aur kuch cases me EV Supply Equipment (EVSE) ke kharche ke liye.

Distribution Transformer slow & high-tension Cable distribution Boxes circuit breakers/Isolator mounting structures Fencing civil works EVSE me aata hai:EV chargers aur charging guns
Scheme ke hisaab se
Government ministries, CPSEs, States & UTs, aur unke PSUs proposals Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) ko bhej sakte hain. Ye entities nodal agencies appoint karenge jo demand aggregate karenge aur suitable locations identify karenge charging stations ke liye.Entities khud EV charging stations set up, operate aur maintain kar sakte hain, ya Charge Point Operators (CPOs) ko hire kar sakte hain.
